"Afternoon In Paris"

A Mixed Media, Assemblage Art, Shadow Box, Depicting a Paris Park Scene The Box (H 12cm/ W 10.5cm/ 6.5cm) is wood and is hand-painted and decorated using a mix of Acrylic Paint, Marker and decorative crafting jewels, and sealed with a glossy finish. Four small wooden legs have been added to the bottom to create a more dramatic effect for display. Inside the box is a realistic miniature replica of a vintage park bench near the Eiffel Tower. The park bench was made from light wood and was hand-assembled, painted and decorated. The ceiling sky was hand-painted while the rest of the inside was done by decoupage. The clock was made from a large button that was decoupaged and attached to the twisted wire. The street lamp was made from twisted wire and faux pearl craft beads. The cherry blossom background trees are accented by tiny leaves and moss, and the entire piece is accented with curtains and a decorative bow made from ribbon.
