"The Powder Room"

Assemblage Art Shadow Box Miniature
A Mixed Media, Assemblage Art, Shadow Box, Depicting a "Lady's Power Room". The Box (H 12cm/ W 10.5cm/ 6.5cm) is wood and is hand-painted and decorated using a mix of Acrylic Paint, Marker and decorative crafting jewels, and sealed with a glossy finish. Four small legs have been added to the bottom to create a more dramatic effect for display. Inside the box is a realistic miniature replica of a vintage powder or make-up room. The furniture pieces are made from light wood and were hand-assembled, painted and decorated. The floor is hand-painted while the walls and ceiling are done by decoupage. The vanity stool features a synthetic faux fur seat cover, while the vanity features beautiful miniature cosmetic bottles made from an assortment of crafting beads. The chandelier was hand-made by twisting crafting wire, and the entire piece is accented with curtains made from ribbon.
